Here we have a stripped and painted cabinet for an SL1200 or 1210.
It has been completely stripped down, had the 45rpm adapter hole filled and pitch slider hole removed and filled and then undercoated, painted in graphite grey and lacquered as you see in the images.
Just to be clear I am not selling a complete deck. Just the cabinet. The pictures are so you can get a feel for how the finished article will look.
This is not a stick on face plate. You would need to actually completely dismantle your turntable and rebuild it into this chassis. This isn't particularly difficult but be sure to understand this before you buy.
This work has been very recently carried out. The finish is not flawless. If you look really really closely in just the right light you may spot some imperfections in the paint / lacquer finish but bear in mind that this was hand finished. Not printed or painted by a machine.
In reality it looks lovely but I feel I have to be honest for anyone too OCD who might be upset by such things.
I am looking for £90 inc. free delivery within the UK. Will not post abroad.
If you prefer, you are welcome to view and collect from my home in Bristol.
Any questions, feel free to PM. Cheers.

I take it by "cabinet" you are referring to the upper plinth casing/panel.

Thanks Andy; it does indeed. I love it and wouldn't change it for the world. The best part was dumping the LP12 for the superior SL1210 :D

Changed your quote, you made an typo. :D

Dunno mate, though i've moved on, i'll always have a soft spot for a LP12,
infact once a Linnie, always a Linnie, :) first time i heard Briks was awesome, never looked at my Spica TC50's in the same light,
i would love to hear your kit as it stands from Linto onwards BTW.
