Am I going mad?

Hi all..

No... I hope I'm not a fruit cake but just recently I've had a bit of a move around in the living room.

When I'm in the room listening to say some beat heavy music the timing is fine. But when I then walk in to the kitchen the music 'seems' to speed up.!!! - wtf?... Can anyone explain the phenomenon? Has anyone had this or do I need to call in the white coats?

Could be you get less deep bass in the kitchen making it perceptibly 'faster' ?

lol... could be... still a bit of a mystery to me. Could be something to do with compression of the soundwaves maybe?
