So to the Movie Test:-

Pick a number from 1 to 9.

Multiply by 3.

Add 3.

Multiply by 3 again.

Now add the two digits together to find your predicted favourite movie in the list of 18 movies below.

Let your chosen number be n, then following the instructions we end up with 3(3n + 3) = 9n + 9 = 9(n + 1). So for any value of n, 9(n + 1) equals a multiple of 9.

All multiples of 9 have the property that the digits of that number when added together equal 9. Thus, for example: 34 x 9 = 306, 3 + 0 + 6 = 9.

For the record, its actually a dogs ear. it is just surprising how close ups of everyday, normal things allows the mind to decide on something completely different. No offence was meant.
