anyone heard of these speakers ? Thinking of buying them with alpha 8 amp and arcam 7 CD player

As usual, you need to hear them.

We sold a few and the larger models, back in the early 2000s. Fast, clean, bright and fun with a rather 'home made' finish. There are no spares, I believe.

I have a set of Kestrals, dinky speakers, as Dave said fun speakers. A sort while ago dug them out and hooked them up to an old Akai amp and American pro CD player, i enjoyed them, vinyl wrap finish ( mine rosewood) can be bi- wired ,the inside frame for the grills can rust as its metal, but looks great without. They have a Metal base, rather than square they are triangle in shape.
