Red Wine Audio reference quality, battery powered, tube headphone amp. Balanced output (4-pin XLR)

See review of the lower-powered single-ended version here:
http://www.cnet.com/news/an-extraordinary-headphone-amplifier-from-red-wine-audio/

Can be run from AC mains, but designed to be run from the rechargable battery for optimum sound quality. Single 6922/E88CC tube in pre-amp stage which can be rolled to tweak and tune sound characteristics.

Perfect condition with original packaging.
Dimensions: 26cm x 16cm x 9cm (w x d x h).

I'm not sure if these are available in the UK. This one was sourced direct from USA. Originally cost over £1100.

Looking for £665 (which includes UK postage + insurance.)

Hi There. I have a Red Wine Audio Cassabria Headphone Amp also Battery powered.
They are ABFAB and work particularly well with Audeze LCD 2 & 3
The ease of tube rolling is very useful and therefore you can tailor the sound to suit. The difference can be considerable.

Hi Ovlov854,

Yes, I've been using mine with LCD-2s and they sounded great. Only selling as I can now move back to a speaker-based system.

Haven't tried tube-rolling myself but have read many posts on the Red Wine forums about the big differences achieved with different tubes. Quite a subject in itself there!
