Why is the thread for this buried in the Trade section of the forum?

Surely all Caiman owners ought to know about it, without having to dig to find out what it's about?

Anyway, if you're not aware, there's a new chip that Stan is selling, that really does up the sound quality of the already excellent Caiman 2.

He refers to it as 'Super Firmware' and the description I, and indeed everyone else that has bought one, agrees with.

It's take away meal priced, and it's amazing how much it ups the Caiman's game.

Bass is cleaner and firmer than ever before, and I'm hearing nuances on tracks I wasn't aware were there before.

Plus, it's a really easy at home mod that requires no more than a small screwdriver, and steady hands.

Trust me, and the other owners of it, if you have a Caiman 2, you owe it to yourself to get one before they sell out again!

PS Disclaimer: I have absolutely no business connection to Stan Beresford, other than being a very happy customer.

Craig,

It was correct of Stan to post the notice there, as he's selling the upgrade. Please note his caveat's in the link below. Stan obviously feels that this is not an upgrade for everyone!

It works well in my Caiman II but I'm not using it in any of the ways that he mentions in the list.
