Excellent SURE ta2024 t-amp. Boxed (used for about 3 minutes); wonderfully transparent mini amp with standard rca inputs and excellent minimalist styling ..... however it makes a farting noise (found out to my cost) which is clearly its party piece. Can't really complain, the people from SURE are delightful and it's sweet that they can make farting amps. Sold as a novelty item (amuse your friends! as Monty Python used to say—or, as SURE says 'Have fun with us').

Warning, the loud farting noise is associated with transients and might well damage speakers .... but I don't see why you shouldn't enjoy the amps unique farting qualities in the the privacy of your own home at very, very moderate volume levels. I've had 2 of these and both farted; should you be unfortunate enough to find that the SURE novelty amp will not fart I will refund the difference between the cost of my amp and a new one from SURE minus their postage (who are only a month or so away by post and usually apologetic).

He says it "farts" on transients. It's clipping!

(he's probably trying to drive a pair of IMFs with it )

If it's "unused" how does he know it farts?

Presumably I could return it if it fails to fart.... or perhaps it's like a tree farting in the woods ...

My amp doesn't fart.

Neither does the wife. Not once. Ever. In 10 years. Remarkable.

My amp doesnt but I do! :eyebrows: everybody does actually as we produce a minimum of 500 mililitres of gas everyday.

Think mine farted today. might have been the phono amp, or it might have been Nina letting off during recordings

Mine had a little 'phut' yesterday, and I kept it company by unleashing a veritable trouser-ripper (one could call it 'flatulence in stereo').... Shmelled of boiled cabbage and old drains :eyebrows:
