Hi,

I have for sale a Tellurium TQ Claymore Amplifier, with Remote Control, I don't have the original box but will be well packaged for delivery.

Has Built in MM/MC Phono stage, USB DAC and 3.5mm input as well, Headphone socket too, sounds superb. Retailed at £3760.

Selling for £1000 plus Delivery which is slightly less than I paid for it a few weeks back, it cost me £1145 inc postage, genuine reason for sale.

I bought this a few weeks back from Loosend who rated it very highly, he had an itch to scratch or else he would have kept it. Remote is a bit quirky and has to be in direct line of sight to amp but works fine once you get used to it.

Thanks for looking,

Mike.

Hi,

No interest, this is a cracking integrated and will be sorry to see it go but I want to try a pre/power combo and possibly free up some cash in the short term until I find a replacement.

This is an astonishingly good amp in many ways - it transformed my view of what is possible from an amp in terms of midrange rez and image focus. Just jaw-droppingly good, imo.

I'd have bought it myself if it wasn't for the somewhat lively top-end - no more so than many well respected amps, mind - fantastic for dance and electronica and rock where it brimmed with foot-tapping excitement - but just that bit too feisty for my classical tastes.
--- I just wish I could forget what it did in the mids! :)

GLWS - an amazing amp.

Hi,

Totally agree, not convinced that selling is the right thing to do, but I want to try something else.

This amp is brilliant with electronic and rock music which are my two favs, it also does acoustic material superbly as well. Now I've said this I really wonder if going another route is really the right thing to do lol.

Mind you I only started back into hifi last year after a 25 year hiatus and I now own a system that would be £8000 retail, bloody t'Internet forums [emoji6] [emoji15] [emoji5]

So as you can see I'm beyond help already.

To be perfectly honest, Mike, for your taste in music I cannot imagine a better amp - it really is a league ahead of anything else I have heard in some respects - and I'm a serial boxswapper who has owned dozens and dozens of amps of all descriptions into the several £k price regime.

If someone here buys this off you, they are in for a real treat!

Hi,

this is DEFINITELY FOR SALE price now at £1000 plus delivery. A superb amp with great reviews and comments from other users/owners but redundancy forces sale ( and no I won't just give it away ;) )

I quite agree, definitely sounds at it's best with vinyl. CD's are a bit brilliant with it. I don't think Mike will have any trouble selling it though.

Have you not considered storing it while you get your pre-amplifier and power-amplifier?
Sometimes items sound great when you go back to them.

Hi,

unfortunately redundancy forces sale so I won't even be replacing it just now, I'll have to resurrect my old Rotel RA921 :(

Mike.

Well the Rotel was a nice little amp in it's day so I think you will get some enjoyment out of that.
