Hi,

Have been searching for couriers and I'm pretty sure they can arranged for insured delivery, if you want delivery I'll leave it up to the buyer to arrange from their end. That way they can arrange to cost and insurance level required.

I have the original packaging.

Thanks,

Mike.

Hi Gazjam,

I think commiserations are more in order lol, job loss forces sale and it was either the amp or the TT to sell it didn't really matter which, although I lost more on the TT than I would have done on the amp, I didnt mean to leave the Eroica cart on it as I have a cheaper replacement but never mind someone is getting a good deal and I'm sure they will enjoy using it.

Away on holiday in 3 weeks ( was already booked before we got the bad news on job front - but going anyway lol ) and I'll replace it with something else as soon as I can, not as exotic cost wise I'm afraid, just something to tide me over 'til things improve.

Mike.

Hi Ali,

thanks, its the better half who's out of work unfortunately, I'm now retired from the Fire Service and now job share, but seeing as 'The Boss' was always the main earner AND she let me buy all the hifi gear I wanted it pains me to have to sell some of it, but at least it can be replaced when things pick up, we still have plenty of cash tied up in ISA's but don't want to start in on them just yet, so I figured be easier selling off some of my hifi gear and replace it later, I still have my Tellurium Q Claymore Amp and Raspberry Pi streamer into PMC 21 speakers so I'm not suffering lol.

Thanks,

Mike.

Shit...sorry Mike.
We've all been there mate...and no matter how bad it feels at the time its only temporary. :)
Amazing in 6 months/1 year how different things will feel!

...that Eroica's a pretty good cart though, but take the satisfaction someone starting on the journey will have a good start.

Hi Gazjam,

oops, sorry I meant it as a joke didn't mean it as a dig so don't feel bad ;), things are fine here just a bit of juggling to do and avoid eating into our ISA's from my retiral funds. See post above for more info, selling the TT just takes a wee bit off the heat off for funds for this holiday that has gone from 2 weeks in Rhodes to a month for some reason, I think my wife has developed the same 'to hell with it' attitude and worry about things tomorrow attitude as me

Hey it's only money and if you knew what I had spent over the last 2 - 3 years taking kids/grandkids to Florida for 3 weeks where we did EVERYTHING, house conversion, HiFi, TV etc etc you'd probably need to sit down :eyebrows:

I'm leaving here with nothing left except the house paid off for the kids to fight over but bugger all cash, and as long as we have enjoyed ourselves along the way, then that's enough.

Mike.

PS: selling the TT means I can look for something else once the wife starts work again :eyebrows: :D
