Hi everyone, just joined and I thought I would say hello. Been browsing a while and I have enjoyed reading some of the posts here.

Little history about myself. My name is Alex and I live in SE London. Been listening to tunes for about 30 years now and in that time had a few systems, Yamaha, Denon, Project, Celef Nimbus, Mission etc. My current system was started in 2003 (thank God for relationship break ups and equity in property ). As for my music tastes I enjoy classical, rock, ambient, electronic, pop, opera etc. My collection now numbers approx 1000 LP's, 700 CD's, also as a child of the 80's I do have a fair few 12 inch singles so of them cool and some of them I bought while drunk.

Anyway great to be here and no doubt I will have some fun and maybe even help a few bods out....you never know

Ciao

PS, since I know most forum users are picture monsters as soon as I have sorted a few out I will post them.

Hi Alex,
Welcome to the AoS - that's a fairly hefty collection of software you have there and a wide ranging taste in music.

I'm sure you'll feel right at home before long.

Just one thing, your signature doesn't mention what arm you're using between the Gyro & the DL103 - what would that be?

Cheers

Hi Grand, thanks for the hello. Oops, thanks for reminding me. Nothing special just a Rega RB300.

Yes - the world will be taken over by Alexi (not sure if that is the correct plural?!)

I've already sort of said hi in the gallery post, but welcome aboard and have fun - they don't bite too much!

Welcome to AoS, Alex...

I cannot read your signature and not chuckle, I can remember just about all of that hollow planet and saving the animals episode. Nibbler rules!

Hi Alex,

Welcome to AOS! :)

What programme (or whatever) are we talking about, chaps? I don't have a scooby-doo what you're on about (or what Alex's sig means)

Marco.

Futurama...

Ask Rob about it next time you chat. :)

It won't be your 'cup of tea' though! ;)

Is it a Channel 4 thing?

If you tell me where and when it's on I'll watch it and see if I'm suitably amused :)

Hi Marco, its a Sky 1 thing, normally on about 5pm ish week days. I just enjoy it as it is the same creator as The Simpsons, slighty different humour though.

Hi Alex,

Cheers :)

However, as I hate The Simpsons (not my sort of humour), if it's anything like that I'll probably give it a miss ;)

Each to their own, though!

Marco.
