Has anybody got experience of removing the plastic body and mounting plate from an Eroica or maybe has an exploded diagram.
I have one with a cracked mounting lug and wondered if it was feasible to mount the 'works' in a custom alloy body casing available for the Denon DL-103.
I'm handy with fiddly stuff and fancy having a bash at this, but some info may be useful.
Yes, I know I could always send it back to Goldring for repair.

Ah. Presumably the mounting plates could be swapped over. Mine is the LX, low output model. I still have to look into dismantling it.
It's a rather nice sounding MC actually. Not the most refined maybe, but extremely musical.
Are you selling yours Shane?

Very nice Grant! :)
I have similar equipment actually, but I'll be using fine hand tools. I can make small pry blades etc. I've taken cartridges apart and reassembled them before, including MCs, without buggering them up.
(all you need for a Decca is a can opener )
