I have a Fiio E11 and want to upgrade to an E12 or similar. It will be used on an Ipod Classic.

I'm also looking for some quality in ear headphones.

I actually have a Ifi Nano DSD as well which is a superb piece of kit --- could do both for £205 delivered ---- I can send you photos this evening if you'd like

I already have an iFi Micro iDSD, that I use on my computer (FLAC & DSD) with Sennheiser HD650's. The in-ears are for an Ipod Classic 160mb with a Fiio E11. It's for the beach (I live in Jersey) and holidays.

Just a thought. I also have a pair of AKG 451's. Maybe I should be looking at portable headphones as well?

I think for in-ear the B&W at that price are great but 'proper' headphones will improve on them, I guess realistically at the beach it may be what is more convenient and gpw much you can concentrate on the music ---- pure sound the portable wins - convenience the in ear........ thats as honest as I can be !
Let me know at our leisure and i'll dig them out and photo but I want you to be happy so no 'hard selling' from me ha ha
