Heads up-Deezer Elite-Flac quality streaming, £120 a year for Sonos users.

As the title says Deezer and Sonos have an offer for a years worth of CD quality streaming £120 for a year, or £14.99 a month. I'm guessing this will be rolled out for other users at some point for the same money.
The first album I tried was MP3 quality, but I haven't found any others that way. I'm guessing most albums are flac quality.

I am trialling it at the moment, sounds good to me and a bigger catalogue than Tidal.

In the track list for an album, bring up the menu for the track, click on 'info and options' then 'track format. This doesn't work in the now playing window.

I haven't tried Deezer yet but have tried Spotify, Qobuz and then Tidal but have gone back to Spotify for now, I'm hoping they roll out lossless soon, perhaps I should give Deezer a try.

Spotify caused me nothing but problems when used with my Squeezebox, thus I am now a Deezer Premium user.

Just as good but no problems.

Why have you gone back to Spotify? I have used it and been impressed with it, I haven't tried the higher resolution Qobuz and Tidal yet.

Can you run Deezer on the SBT via mysqueezebox.com or do you need a desperate server running? That is one thing I like about Spotify on the Touch, no need for a server.

Well the first major advantage whilst using the Touch is as I explained above, no need for a separate server. I found needing my laptop on a pain so did get an IT mate to set up a Raspberry Pi for me but found it made a slight buzzing noise and also sometimes needed the cable pulled out to reboot to connect.

Spotify is my favorite in terms of usability and extensive library but I did feel Qobuz and Tidal were marginally better in terms of sound although to be honest it is easier to tell them apart over hours rather than AB, even that may be in the mind.

I liked the fact all three have apps for my phone on the go which is a bonus but really am waiting till I don't need a server, have a full library and waiting to see if any will do all this for £15 a month rather than £20.
