Hi

A friend of mine has a Lenco af3302 power amplifier ( not a brand I know but google search seems to suggest it was/is decent quality (well price ) back in the day )
I am looking to get him an appropriate pre to go with it --- plainly vintage if in good condition is not an issue, and probably preferred --- he does like tone controls --- budget is not large looking around £150 region - black is preferred but not essential--- I have offered him a Sony 670ES in pre only mode only so think that is Japanese makes covered (?) --- not that I think tubes are available at this price but it has to be shipped to Turkey too so prefer sometg quite robust --- please PM me with ideas or I am equally happy ot have them on a thread if you are, so we can get comments ---- I am not too bad on newer gear but this is sometg I need help on so if you've got a hidden gem please let me know even if it is £200 no offers - I would expect to pay within 2 working days of agreeing purchase and hopefully quicker than that
tks in advance

Hi Chris,

I don't know that poweramp but, considering it probably has very sensitive inputs, it may work very well with a passive preamp.

I have an in as new condition Icon Audio Passive Pre that I used with my monoblocks (Temple Audio). Since I'm changing my system, I'm letting it go.
It's VERY well made, weights around 2Kg (not 350g like they state in the website) and sounds just great.

PM me in case your interested.

A Quad 34 or 44 would fit the bill.

Thread moved as Private Exhibitions is for items for sale or wanted and your post seems more like a request for advice as opposed to the former.
