Some of these recordings make vinyl sound broken:doh:

Something a bit left-field & probably not everybody's cup of tea...

But it sounds mighty fine on my system... ;)

For live, this sounds pretty decent!

Very nice but the bass is way overblown, at least thru mines?

Wasn't really meaning videos of established bands but simpler\/ stuff:)
Difficult when there are lots of peeps & lots of mikes but refreshing when it's
simple & sounds like they are in front of you:lol:

That was excellent. Enjoyed it.

The original has some great bass for a system workout.

Can't beat a bit of Solar Field's Rich... any of the artists on the Ultimae label (https://ultimae.bandcamp.com) are worth checking out too - the 24bit studio master downloads are gorgeous!

Not sure this fits in with styles the OP question was looking to encompass (perhaps we need a dedicated Chillout/Ambient/Downtempo thread) but this remix is from the godfathers of Ambient House and features Steve Hillage on guitar...

Not the biggest fan of the Porcupine Tree, but this audience recording of Steve Wilson performing Drive Home is almost as good as being there:
