Widely considered to be one of the best line stage pre's ever made. This is a superb pre!

The Graaf is fully valve, fully balanced, but also with s/e options. Never thought I'd be selling this, but too much kit says I must. Condition is excellent and it is in perfect working order.

Price is £1400 collected from Worksop, or I can take it along for collection at Scalford next weekend. Cash on collection only please.

That's lovely Rick. Graaf gear is a bit special. if I could justify the outlay, I'd have it.

I had money to buy this when we were in touch in January, then the trail went cold...
Now the money isn't there and up it pops. Great!

Nick, sorry fella. I was under the impression that you were weighted towards a swap. Things happened at my end, like spending a lot on a tt, and the rest is history. It's one of those items that's difficult to justify owning when not in use, but on the other hand, it's a 'good as it gets' pre that will be up to the standard of any power amp I might plug it into. I really don't mind if it doesn't sell.

Wish you'd said! Swaps or trades are always easier than straight buying :D But I could (and would) have put the cash together then, now I'm out of the game :(

I think so Geoff. I also have the matching phono stage, and it's another of those things I cant imagine selling. Thought about it once or twice, but ultimately forgot about it soon after.

The plan was always to get the matching mono's and have a full Graaf system. That's still a possibility!

And that sounds like an excellent plan to me . The Graaf pre is a superb bit of kit on its own, but a whole Graaf system ?

I've used this very item and can honestly say it was miles ahead of any other pre amp I had in my setup. Really flexible as well, it has 2 settings for gain, one is zero db and the other 13 db, useful for high gain power amps having 0 db but tube loveliness. It meant I lost none of the drive or dynamics that passive pre amps can squash but could still have good control over volume.
