My SL1210 is on a wall shelf, fixed to a brick wall, 10mm glass shelf supported by spikes isolating the glass form the shelf?

Are the Isonoe Audio Isolation feet worth it or a gimmick?

They are good. They work. Even better with Techniboots which make them look chunky

I found the RDC cones and bases even better

Is your TT likely to be influenced by airborne vibrations?
If so, they may make a difference.
In my old home they made a noticeable difference but the TT was right in the firing line of one of the speakers.
Now in my listening room, the TT is sat much closer (about 2 feet) from a speaker but directly beside it and doesn't suffer at all.
After switching back and forth a few times I found the feet didn't make a difference.
Now it's just down to cosmetics, I can't decide which look better. The standard feet give the deck a lower profile but the Isonoes look a bit more purposeful!

I have techniboots as well which I didn't get any benefit from.
If you are tempted we could do a deal on the lot. My Isonoes are Black BTW

My Isonoes are Black

Swap you for some silver ones , Plus a few beer tokens :eyebrows: My TT is all black ,the black feet would look nicer :)

the mrs bought me some for xmas, compared to my Sorbothane feet I woudl say they definately opened up the soundstage, possibly at the expense of a little bass

In my system they were the single best upgrade. On a shelf on a brick wall, I doubt you would get much benefit. Could still be worth a go as they may help attenuate airborne vibration.

That's what I found too, at least until I had some glass inserts made for about £15 then there was a small improvement. Looking at bottom of the Isonoes it appears they are meant to sit on a hard surface.

I tried them on my SL1210 which is sited on a heavy MDF cabinet. I couldn't hear any difference at all (and thought they looked ugly) so sold them on.

I guess it's all to do with where and on what your turntable sits. When I rap my knuckles on the cabinet on which my turntable sits, I hear nothing through the speakers.

Should have said both the Isonoes /Technboots and RDCs sit on a Mana Reference top, glass, sitting on a Mana rack and Soundbases

Quite definite improvement over the Sorbothane feet

Crikey, how much isolation do you need?!

Er, it's gone a bit further than that now

Sounds superb with Technics now sitting on
RDC cones, screwed into base
One of Steve's S1NX laminated wooden platforms
Sorbothane
and that on top of the Mana Reference top, rest as before
:)

Funnily enough the RDC bases don't seem to make any difference at all with the S1NX platform in place
