Hey. My name is Chris. I am a university student spending time studying music at university in Montreal in Canada. I enjoy collecting vinyl but also enjoy listening to digital music from my large collection of CDs and iTunes music. I currently have a system small system that I have put together over the last number of years. My set-up, though not anything high-end, is my pride and joy (I built the speakers with my dad a few years ago) and I spend a lot of time listening to good music on it.

I love jazz (especially vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington...), a lot of oldies from the '70s and before (motown, old pop, funk...), classical music, etc...

Hope to meet some new people and gain some more information about hifi sound on here :)

Hello Chris. Welcome to AOS.

Tell us about your system, you can post equipment photos in the Gallery section if you like.

Do you have any equipment changes planned? We like to hear what people have in mind.

I'm sure you'll find plenty to interest you here.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Hey guys :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have posted a thread in the gallery with pictures of my setup. I have a pair of SEAS Idunn speakers that I built from scratch with my dad as well as a SEAS L26ROY sub that I also built from scratch. I may post a thread to show build pics of the speakers as I have kept quite a few. I also have a pair of old Paradigm 7SEs from the late '80s back home. As far as upgrades go, being a university student, money is tight and I can't afford many big upgrades. Luckily I am quite happy with what I have acquired over the last few years :D
