I've been sat on this one for quite a while now but only just got round to giving it the case it deserved despite it being in situ for a year.

It's a digitally controlled TT-PSU, based on a programmable, bi-phase, sinewave generator. Each phase drives a mono chip amp as the output, run in Class A. The phase offset between each side is adjustable for offset in 0.1 degree intervals, so you can trim the phase lag exactly for your motor, allowing you to dial in for any production variance in the windings- no one size fits all here!

It's an AC controller so the motor speed is driven by the supply frequency which is user adjustable in 0.01hz steps. The speed stability is rock solid, there's no thermal drift, no setting down on warm up. The output voltage is adjustable for each phase via trim pot, so you can dial in a little difference between each leg if you think it makes a difference, and you can use it to set up for different motors, anything between 14-24v.

There's a USB socket on the back for setting it up, speeds, phase lag, start up ramp, slow down ramp, there's a log for 'motor running' hours so you can record stylus lifetime and a few other things.

I'm using it on the Kuzma Stabi S / LP12 bearing bastard with thick silicon oil. Thick oil loads the motor, which forces it to drive torque, which linearises the magnetic field, which all but eliminates cogging- which make my deck considerably more accurate than any other I've had over the years. It pisses on my SME 10 for speed stability.

Absolutely no use whatsoever. Wouldn't work with the motor.
