Don't we all just love mechanised toolery. Well my choice for today was the chainsaw, so here are the results:

Now you know that thing doesn't do it properly. What's the good of a few inches of turned over soil? Ronnie would tell (and probably has) that you need a fork and some back muscle. Down at least a foot and turn it over proper like.

Damned machines, make life too easy. What's wrong with a hand saw anyway?

One of the biggest regrets ever was take up Cabinet making as a trade instead of Engineering..

They are great fun... we had attachments for a grass cutter, a rotavator and a collection box...:)

Yes he has some attachments. grass cutter, sprayer and muck spreader are 3 I remember. He has 8 acres, sheep and a horse(occasionally a pig). :lol: He has a friendly farmer who helps him out with bits n bobs as well. Its his retirement project now.

I'd love a chainsaw but don't trust myself... I need some trees felling too!

However I'm having lots of fun with my Dremmel and all my gardening blades, hatchets and knives are uber sharp :D

Now a rotavator I do have but waiting for it to be fixed as I hit a bloody big brick that was buried in my veg patch!

Chainsaws are great, but they need to be treated with respect. It's probably much easier (and possibly cheaper) to get someone in to fell the trees for you.
