Is it possible to correctly mount a Denon 103 in an Ortofon SPU G headshell, for use on a 3012? How much do these empty headshells weigh?

It depends if G-type headshell is die-cast metal or Bakelite. I believe the latter weigh in at 9.9g.

It ought to be possible to mount a Denon 103 in an Ortofon G-type shell, as the latter has two sets of (blind) threaded holes.
