I have a stinker of a cold and feel awful :(

Tight chest
Ache all over
headache
Cold even with the heating up high

Best thing for a cold is vodka and orange. Needs to be freshly squeeed oj though, not that concentrated crap. The vodka will dull the pain and cheer you up while the vitamin C does its thing. Always works for me. :)

Seriously, I was going out with a foreign woman - from somewhere behind the iron curtain, can't remember which country - and she treated me to her local speciality. After that, as I had a cold, she gave me a slug of vodka and a whole garlic clove. You have to swallow the clove whole.

You'll be as right as rain on the morrow - probably.

A friend of mine has just got over something like you have - exactly the same symptoms. He even went to the doctor for an ECG! Wishing you a speedy recovery Al so you can soon be up and about; raiding those boot sales. :D
