Hi there.
I'm not very good with technical stuff, only know what my ears here.
Anyway, on a recent trip to the Bristol Hi-Fi show, I was treated t a front row seat at the AudioNote Room.
Oh my Gosh. I was blown to bits. Such clear vocals and encompassment of music. It felt the singer was there in the room.

Anyway, I looked around and got a Raysonic SE-20 Mk2 (8W single-ended 300B integrated amp - closely based on Audionote Kit 1 circuit) and a AudioNote AZ-Three speakers.

Re-shuffling the room to fir the spekaers int he right place took most of the weekend, due to Wife insisting on aesthectics like sofas, doors, etc ;-)

Anyway, I currently use a Squeezebox as a source for my VBR192/flacs via a ZeroDAC (Chinese make, on ebay). I am looking for a good DAC that can work well with my system. I normally listen to Indian Classical Music ( Flute, Sitar, and lots of vocal).

I was looking at the AN DAC 2.1, but they are way over my budget...wondering if I can get the same mid-tome syrupy sounds with DAC 1.1 ?

Have a browse around the forum.

A lot of people like the Bushmasters, and the Benchmark Dac's.

Don't use one myself but have heard them.

I'm sure there are peeps on here that will tell you you don't have to spend megabucks to get a good Dac.

I would strongly suggest you move up from 192 bit to at least 320 and preferably FLAC to get the best sound out of your new investment. Enjoy.

Welcome Dipak. this is really the welcome area where you introduce yourself and give us an idea of your kit and listening habits etc some of which youve done.
your question should be put in digital expressions so you get the attention of dac specialists.
