Speaker Recommendation for Rega Brio-r amp?

I'm considering a new music system from Rega (Brio-r, Apollo-r, RP3) for use in a small room.
What is a good monitor speaker to consider? (Should I stick with the Rega RS1 or look at another brand?)

Depends on budget, size of room, kind of music you listen to. Also what is is about your system now that you would like to improve on.

The Brio R isn't fussy on speakers at all IME. Just give it 3/4 hour from 'cold' to stabilise fully and off you go.. Rega do have a new speaker range coming at higher prices, so look out for some RS3's at good prices ;)

interested in this too purely as in a drunken moment ive recently bought a rega brio r on ebay. Im hoping they match my monitor audio bx5s ok.

The MA's could be improved later on without changing the amp, which will happily drive £3k + speakers of quality with ease...

I've not yet heard a Brio-R. But keep reading good reviews about it.

Also consider KEF LS50. I am told they go well with the Rega. Fantastic 3D soundstage. However, very revealing of whatever is upstream of them so very unforgiving of poor source or bad recordings

After much humming and haaing bought a pair of graphite Q Acoustics 2020i (discounted at £139 by sevenoaks)

Stunning representation for the size if you can live with the rounded edges

I reckon the small Dali Zenzors would work well with the Brio-R if it's stand mounts you're after - but the fabled 'Rega synergy' might come into play here - RS1s may well be an obvious choice...
