View Full Version : Flying weather, though very soggy ground.

Managed to get a flight in, though a little blustery near the ground.

The sunset at the end of the visit was lovely:

I forgot to take my altimeter with me so had to guess how high I was flying, but I always have a little play over the piste at low level at the end, it's fantastic.
I used the camera to record my take off and landing times, here is the shot after landing:

With all the rain over the last month a lot of the fields are still very wet, so I have to be doubly careful about sighting a field for landing should the motor stop :eek:

The weather is now looking good for getting more air time :D

Nice Alan. Watched a program yesterday on yesterday a out the making and usage of such machines by the military and police etc. very interesting stuff.
