I see Yamamoto soundcraft Japan have a new headshell out...£83...carbon fibre. quite interesting...anyone using a removable one?

I can confirm that the Oyaide carbon-fibre headshells are good; certainly much better all round than the ubiquitous Jelco/Sumiko ones, but a a price, of course.

A fair saving getting that one then as it is a third of the price. I have one of their wood ones and it is very good and well made.

I'll chime in for carbon head shells too. Like Hugo, I'm using one from Oyaide - best I've ever used.
