Guys,
Just an IC at the moment. I'm thinking of changing my Garrard 301 birchply plinth for a Panzerholz version. Panzerholz is expensive and I wondered if anyone fancied sharing the cost via a group buy? The idea being that several of us could have nice spanky Panzerholz plinths for our decks?

Are you thinking of buying it cut to size? I believe it's very hard to work with.

Whatever is cheapest, this could be either buying sheets or having them cut to a specific size.

I could be interested depending on cost, I have a 301 and a Lenco awaiting attention. Have you found a supplier?
An alternative might be Permali which I believe is manufactured in the UK.

Just an interest check at the moment. I've not looked into suppliers yet as I don't think there is enough interest.

Andy I'd be interested in 600 x 425mm pieces to make up a 50mm plinth

Andy,
As things looked a bit slow I've emailed Permali to see what they can offer in terms of sheet size, thickness, price, etc. I'll let you know what I discover.
Clearaudio have a nice TT called the Ovation manufactured from Panzerholz reviewed in Hifi news.
Could be also a possibility for my Lenco GL75?
