Are these genuinely 90dB?
Never heard them though!

I'd guess that's an in room figure neglecting baffle step loss to boost rated sensitivity (bass region) which many manufacturers quote rather than anechoic (AN for example famously quote sensitivity including cabinet and wall/corner reinforcement data which combined could add between 6 to 12dB). To get 90dB from such a small design is not easy from an 8 Ohm speaker so I'd have my doubts unless I saw how the measurements were taken:scratch:. They dont give the frequency response, but guessing rear ported or even sealed probably 60Hz to 65Hz would be reasonable from that size box
I've had RS3 and RS5 and they claim 89db fwiw.
The 1 is a decent speaker but my recommendation would be the rs3, they can be had for the less than the price of new rs1 second hand. By far the most musical of the lot, I have the rs5 now as my room can take them but they're more unruly than the 3 which have a lovely balance.
