I love my Onix OA21S amplifier.
soundwise it has seen off a Nait 2, Nait 5i and Unitiqute.
It truly sounds wonderfull except for one thing:
The input selector is not working properly and as a result, I only have 2 inputs working. I have another source (CD) that I would like to ad so I need to get the input selector sorted.
I read that it is a ALPS ribbon selector, which are not made anymore.

I would like to know if there is somebody who could help me to fix the input selector.
I have no ideia how to do it so I am looking at suggestions.

Please help me

Carlos I might have one of the ribbon mechanisms in my junk somewhere. I shall have a look and get back to you.

If I can find it I may be able to help when I'm in the West Midlands in a months time. Might even be able to fix the old one

Thanks guys.
I managed to open the OA21S and took some pictures.

The input selector has been modified by the previous owner but he said that it was still not working properly

it appears that this amp has had some mods done. All I know is that it sounds superb.

Good amps those. That relay will need changing, I had trouble with the Relays in mine. I also had trouble with the thump on power up

The amp was fixed by Alan (Firebottle). A big thanks to him for welcoming me in his house and being so helpful in repairing the Onix.

It's a long way from Walsall to France! Good result though.
