Unison Research Unico Integrated Amp

Excellent hybrid amp, I have really enjoyed it. 85W per channel, plenty of low end grunt and control. In good condition with original box and nice wooden trimmed remote. I currently have two JJ ECC802 gold pins installed, will include the original Russian Electro Harmonics valves. Does not have the optional phono card, but these can still be ordered for around £70

I remember Unison when they first came out in the late 80's? I Once heard a tiny EL84 i think it was driving a small pair of Chario 'Syntar' which sounded ok but i was never into modern valve systems so really did not take much notice. Looked nice tho, it was all the woodwork i think that attrac'turd me

At the price Tom I think there is nothing to touch it... I also had a Copland CSA28 hybrid and I preferred the Unico

My Unico was one of the early ones and it had a solid wooden remote which was lovely.. only did the volume I believe though so your remote does more

The wooden trimmed remote only does the volume too, the other buttons must be for the CD players etc..
