Had these for a couple of years having been lucky enough to come by them and rescue them from a fate worse than a recycling village.
They are fully working, in original unmodified condition and I'd say are in great condition for their age. There are one or two minor chips on the bottom corners of the cabinets and yes, the much prized tweeters are working and sound great! The driver surrounds are all intact and the original covers are in good condition, no rips and still have original badges. The foam on the inside of the covers has rotten away over the years but this doesn't materially affect the sound quality that I can hear.
You could either enjoy them as they are or they'd make a nice project to restore. I'm sure someone will probably even have them for the tweeters!
As it is they're not getting used so can go to fund my sl1210 project.
I'm afraid due to their size and weight they are either local collection or delivery only. I really can't be chewed to find suitable boxes and packaging for them. As always, they can be heard working at my place and you'll get a free cup of tea!
I think £40 is fair, tell me otherwise. Cash on collection, pay pal gift or bank transfer please.
