Pimped SL1210 mk5 for sale

for sale is my SL1210 mk5. it's in lovely condition, with only some marks on the lid, with the following improvements over stock:

Inspire plinth system with sorbothane feet
Jelco SA-750D arm and MCRU armboard
Wychwood Audionics arm cable - van damme silver cable/neutrik profi rca plugs - huge improvement over the standard jelco cable it came with
Vantage bearing
offboard psu to QWIN's spec housed in a plastic case, with a wooden 'sleeve' to match plinth
Funk Achromat (not shown in pictures)
Nagaoka magnesium headshell

£850 collected/delivered within reason (from Leeds)

it's at Lee's :( he's testing his PT with it to see wether he should get one...... i'll get it back at the weekend.

however, older pic with achromat added. the cartridge is very much NOT included in the sale :)

I have heard this and it sounds great.

Whatever Darren put on, from Nora Jones To Diana Krall, with some Jazz sax thrown in too, it sounded just right.

In addition, Darren is one of the good guys. Buy from him with confidence.

honestly Grant, i'm not really willing to use a courier. they've damaged enough things in the past.

i will, however, drive it pretty much anywhere that i can get there and back in a day for something towards fuel :)

or i'll be at scalford if anyone is going to that..........
