Admittedly a lurker so far, the Techiepedia is a wonderful resource, but hopefully looking to post a bit on here in future.
I have a bit of a reputation on the Wam for my music........a bad one, that is.
Also, apparently, if you cut me in half it would say Audio Note all the way through.
I loves a bit of black and gold, me.
A complete luddite when it comes to computer music, CD's and LP's rule.
I'll be exhibiting at Scalford, room 224.
Hell I may even show my system. ;)
It would be great to meet some of you.
Cheers
Steve

Some bad boys over there, the sign on blurb says "abandon hope all you who enter here". :D
The Techie is, unsuprisingly, a modded one, Funk Firm Achromat, external power supply to a design by Kwinn, (have I got that right?), and an Audio Note Arm 2 and IQ3 mounted on there. I really like it's drive and punch, something that the AN kit needs IMO.
Although, confession time, I also have a suspended turntable as a bit of a project, called a MRM The Source.
It's bloody good but in a different way and I cant see me getting rid of the Techie. I'd like the best of both worlds.

You'll be missed Phil. I'll think about you whilst I have a beer in the bar.

Thanks for the welcome, Geoff.
I particularly like reggae and electronica, basically anything with a rhythym.
Then there's the out there stuff, Wevie Stonder, Johnny Dowd, Milanese....
I'll have ear defenders available in the room. ;)
