Hi...
so I had my Technics fixer come round this evening and the deck don't work. He is going to take it home and have a proper test of it all but it looks like I may need to buy a new Main PCB for it [black plugs] which look like it is going to cost me a few quid.
So I thought one of you big technics guys might have a spare one going, or at least have a good tip as to where is a good place to get one from. It looks like it will set me back £80-£120 on ebay.
BACKSTORY - in case you saw my other thread-
I was told today by a local HIFI shop man that I would probably have to spend at least £600 and maybe as much as £800 to get a new TT that would be better than the 1210, so that nixes my idea of flipping it and getting a Debut Carbon SB or whatever. And he did himself out of a sale telling me that, so big shout out to Bartletts Hifi on Holloway Rd.
