My recently bought sdai 2175 has an intermittent issue where sometimes after booting the display and front interface do not respond properly. A simple power off/back on fixes it but i'd like to cure it if possible!

Llyngdorf has made a number of firmware revisions and the changelog suggests it is patched in later versions... Trouble is I don't have the lead to flash it!

Do any fellow lyngdorf owners out there have a spare I could possibly borrow or buy?

Thanks

Dawson

If anyone else is frugal, these cables are quite easy to make up - they use an RS232 for pc and RJ12 on the amp end (NOT rj11 as shown on the llyndorf site).

The I.T network dept at work kindly gave me an old Cisco Console Cable (RJ45-to-DB9) which I have re-purposed with the help of a multimeter and a crimping tool. The amp only needs 3 wires (TxD,RxD, ground)...

pin 2 (red) > pin 6 on rj12
pin 3 (green) > pin 5 on rj12
pin 5 (orange) > pin 4 on rj12

Flash has successfully upgraded :) Fingers crossed the display issue has now gone away for good!
