Wanted Ferrograph F307 Amplifier

Hi Guys

I'm after one of the above amplifiers must be in good working order cosmetic not an issue. £50 for a good one but must be posted unless local to Bournemouth.? :)

Yes i just love the look of the and i hear good things about them to missed one on Ebay last night for £40 but the guy sprayed the volume pot with WD40 :eek: not what i would use their was a 20+20 that went cheap also just above £100.

The '20+20' {F208} was basically a 'F307' in new style enclosure.. No where near as nice looking. One of the nice things about the 'F307' was all the switches etc were hidden under a flap at the bottom. No dedicaturd balance control, The Volume, Bass & Treble controls were all dual concentric in other words every one had a Balance control..

The bigger, later Ferro '60+60' {F608} was different all together & can fetch anything up to a grand on the used market..

Please note both the 'F307' & '20+20' have 2 Pin Din loudspeaker outputs {You can buy them in high quality metal bodies nowadays but you are restricted to thin cable}.. You also need very slim Phono plugs because the sockets are around 5/8" centres & not 3/4" centres like amps these days..

When fully rebuilt they are great amps. My fav vintage amp of all time.

That's a MK.I tho! Mk.II are unit Number 2000 & above..

Here's another i picked up last month £25. The cabinet is smashed but the cosmetics are Near mint. The last one cost me around £600 to fully rebuild. As i don't intend using this one.. just a service & cap change will do.
