Trichord Research Clock 4b 16.9344MHZ.

Suitable for Marantz CD63 / CD67 and many other CDP's see here for list: http://www.trichordresearch.co.uk/cd-player-list/.

The clock made a significant improvement to my CD67, it was more accurate, had better timing, reduced background noise, and created more air between instruments.

Brand new these retail at £146.40 and I've seen them sell on eBay at upwards of £60.00 + p+p, I'm asking £50.00 delivered.

I am going to have a look inside the Conrad Johnson when I get a chance and see what frequency the clock is.

If Andrew doesn't want this I might be interested.

I've just been on a bit of a journey with CD63's & CD67's I have a few spares / mods you may be interested in? I'm busy tonight but will drop you a PM in the next couple of days with a list of what I've got.

I got my 63 for £20 from Tonbridge Audiojumble a couple of years ago.

Mods already done :-
Panny caps in PS
Removed HDAM modules
Output straight to new RCA's
Replaced about 19 current limiting resistors with Voltage regs. Added a separate supply to these regs with a JLH Ripple Eater attached.
Removed the headphone circuit
Bypassed various pins on the DAC chip with tantalums as per the Acoustica recommendations.
Lined most of the case with bitumen pads.

After all that I checked myself into the nearest Priory as I feared I had become a complete NUTTER!:eek::eek::mental::mental::mental:
