The bottom 'ring' where it sits is 31mm in total across the diameter and the inner hole 21mm. The max width where it tapers out is approx 38mm, doing it by eye held against a ruler, as I don't have a micrometer. Hole at the top is 6mm.

Do you need some?

Very rough drawing . . . top one is the foot viewed from underneath.

Can't thank you enough..

Ive been trying to replace the spring & rubber foot on my Michell 'Focus One' TT with a none springy jobbie. I fitted 'Gyrodec' conical feet but were far from ideal with regards to Footfall {All not lost with them at least my Michell 'Syncro' deck now has new feet}. I bought Isonoe feet which were a utter disaster. Till i came across this article & the guys Aluminium feet which look very much the same as the 'Focus One' foot. Got me thinking with the Rega rubber foot, cost me beer money to do..

That's a good idea, I read that awhile back myself and I like what Michael Lim does with Rega decks - very simple ideas and very effective.

Thats amazing the michell foot is 39mm diameter, the inside is 33.5mm lob off the bottom step & they will fit in the foot no probs

Awesome..

Ok the original using a Rega Foot idea i was not happy about hence scrapped that.

So here's what i did, i found a perfect size set of Aluminium feet bonded a thick sorbothane pad on top {'O' Ring around the the circumference of the pad to keep equal gap between the two foot when the weight of the deck is applied} the secondary foot then bonded onto the bottom of the original 'Focus' foot.. I also like the large diameter 'O' ring that has been fitted into the bottom of the secondary foot.

Briefly fitted to the deck i find the slight foot fall issue i was experiencing has virtually disappeared by tapping on the granite TT isolation platform. Quick polish up of the original foot before fitting & jobs a good un..No more bouncy TT of the original design..
