Anyone got a 'good value for money' MM phono stage to match up with a Cambridge Audio A5 ?
I'm about to buy another amp and the CA A5 is one of a few I'm considering but it doesn't have a phono stage.

Budget: £30.00 ish…….maybe a touch more depending on what I have to pay for the amp.

I've got a tidy QED RIAA unit I may just be persuaded to part with. It's my emergency back up. I'd want a little bit more than £30 though. It cost me a fair bit more.

don't know..not tried one...When I played in a band many moons ago...we used Behringer microphones and mixing desk...the gear was good quality, robust and reliable...all I can say is you get what you pay for...I'd say it will get you by..til you get some bucks for a higher end stage..for the money..I don't think you can go wrong imho..

Hiya
I've just upgraded and have got a small Behringer pre amp think its the PP400 had it about two years with more than acceptable sound. Yours for £22 including cheapest possible postage :)
