Hi my name is Andi. I have been a hi-fi enthusiast for many years. I have had all kinds to systems ranging from 5.1 to two channel stereo. I like all kinds of music especially music with guitars played well. I live in Somerset, enjoy motorcycling in the summer, play a bit of guitar and love to sit down when I can for a good listening session.
My system is simple but a delight to hear. I have a Linn 1.1 Unidisk player and Ear V20 valve amplifier hooked up to a pair of TDL Monitors from their studio range, they were the one's just underneath the awesome TDL Reference Standards. This is info about TDL Studio and Reference Standards here.

I really love transmission line speakers especially The Monitor. Until a pair of Reference Standards or SACM come up I am more than happy to keep the Monitors. May be the last speakers I ever own because Ref Standards or SACM rarely come up for sale, like the Monitors. I actually have two pairs at the moment so going to be selling a pair soon.
The system is hooked up with Nordost mains IC's and speaker cable and it all seems to work very well together. I have never had such a musical sounding system as this. It's almost always an occasion when I do get time to listen to it! I would be interested to hear form any other TDL/IMF owners or enthusiasts and share experiences. It's an interesting topic.
