I'm living the American Dream here in Sayre, PA, a little town next to the New York State border and just forty miles from the McIntosh factory in Binghamton, NY (I've been on tour there...what a treat!)

My kit consists of Shindo Montille amp and Monbrison preamp, along with reworked Klipsch La Scalas seeing duty along with Hawthorne Audio Silver Iris open baffles. My sources are a Technics Sl1210M5G, a Technics SP 15 and a Technics SP 25.....running Denon DL 103Rs and Ortofon SPUs...through Hagerman Bugle 2s and Ortofon Vertos. I have recently purchased a Hegel H80 and am very impressed with that solid state piece. In the wings I have my 1966 McIntosh MC250 and my 1963 McIntosh MC225....both of them work splendidly with the Shindo preamp.

I have a large record collection (too many, according to my wife) filled with RCA Shaded Dogs, London Bluebacks and Mercurys....I love classical music but also enjoy jazz and symphonic film scores (Miklos Rozsa being my favorite composer).

Oh, and I do listen to CDs also.....I have a boatload of them, too.

That's some quality gear you have there. As an enthusiast of McIntosh equipment it must have been a real pleasure for you to be able to visit the McIntosh factory. It would seem you are also a fan of Technics turntables (and arms?) - it will not have escaped your attention we have a very strong following of the Technics SL1200 turntable here! :)

We would love to see some photographs of your system; especially the Shindo gear.

Yes, I've been lurking for a while and have noticed a strong following for the Techie decks. The SP15 and SP25 have Audio Technica ATP 12T arms on them, and the SP 15 has a cherry plinth from tonearmaudio.com , along with the 12 inch cherry tone arm Len Johnson builds.

Amazingly I have never taken any pictures of my gear (!) though the SP 15 appears on Len's site. Both SPs were updated and repainted by Roy Coffey here in the States.

I shall have to learn to operate my wife's camera and get some photos posted (much computer technology still escapes me I'm afraid).

Those Audio Technica ATP 12T arms are a very good professional arm and a good match for your Ortofon SPU.
