Greetings from Altrincham. My name is Miro, originally from Slovakia, but been in Uk for over 10 years now. Interested in all technology, but mainly hifi and most of all speakers. Have been checking the forum quite often, but never signed up. I am bit of a box swapper as always looking to discover something new and never really say no to any bargain. Because of this I went through quite a few pairs of speakers, amps, subs etc. Tried a bit of Diy speaker building as had access to few drivers and cabinets, but then moved to flat so had to give up on this - well I will surely go back to it later on.

My music choices are mainly Jazz/Blues and Rock, but generally listen to anything of decent quality. My kit at the moment is: Gr research N3 (american DIY kit - will never sell this) Wharfedale Opus 2 (bought recently because of georgous rosewood looks and price, but cannot quite get them working great in my room somehow) and few small bookshelf diy attempts, Beresford Tc-7520 Gatorised, Audiolab 8200CD/Dac, Sherbourn multi chanell power amp and Yamaha aX-1090 integrated as well - big Japanese Beast. Kit keeps changin monthly depending on finance situation and girlfriends mood.

Hello Miro. Welcome to AOS.

Put a few pictures of your gear on our Gallery section. I'd like to see the Yamaha amp, I don't know that model.

Don't give up on the speaker building. We like a good project on AOS.

Tell us what music you listen to.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Welcome to AoS Miro.

So you kit changes depending on your girlfriend's mood? Better get her to join AoS as well! :)

We would love to see some pictures of your (current) system, before it changes!

Enjoy the Forum
