Next on the list is my 401. This has known only 2 keepers since new, the first of which was Stewart Wennen. Stewart knows his stuff with these decks, and this one spent it's life fully serviced and in a plinth he designed and built himself after much research. That is not pictured yet, but is included.
The plinth pictured is solid oak, very heavy, and based I believe on the Loricraft. The top plate sits on 4 squash balls mounted into corner braces beneath. It is very nicely made!
Also with the package is a choice of arms. The arm pictured is a Rega RB250 modified at Audio Origami. It also has the Michell Technoweight, as well as the standard Rega one.
The oak plinth has the arm boards for Rega (as pictured) or SME (pictured separately) which caters for the other available arm which is a Hadcock 242. This arm comes with a 228 arm tube also, and both are fine on this mount. I'll add pictures of the 242.
Combination of the deck and either arm is priced at £1000 collected. No shipping is possible on this. Weight is around 30kg. The 17d2 pictured is not included in the sale but could be available separately. I will assist with delivery if not too far for a token fuel gesture, or I can get the deck to Scalford if that's not too long to wait.
