The Tan leather reminds me of the old Pickering Headsets

The peak at 1500Hz is rather unsettling. Don't buy these if you like rock or metal. They might take your ears off!

390 Euros is serious wedge for a pair of on-ear headphones. I would definitely need to hear these in comparison to some established heavyweights like the beyerdynamic t51p, the Sennheiser Momentum on-ear, the Philips Fidelio X1/X2, Focal Spirit One and a few others... Kef, B&W, NAD...

Nothing a little software EQ jiggery-pokery cant fix ! My days of pressing "direct" are long over

Theres been a few (new) pairs sell on eBay for £229 which is a more realistic price.

If you're using DSP to EQ then there is no point in having high end headphones :ner:

Just get this pair of M50X's: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50XBL-Monitor-Professional-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUSGM/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1421845042&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=Audio-Technica+ATH-M50x

I was waiting for that reply :D

Nonsense, does pride of ownership count for naught ? Anyway, I only EQ poor recordings that require it and even then we're talking small adjustments for tonal balance... No smiley face curves here :)
