This is a lovely arm! Pictures just show the arm, but it does have a arm lead and bias weight. I also have a headshell (not AT) that can be included for a little extra. It's a Sumiko IIRC.

I bought this to go on a 1210 but never got around to it. Price for this one is £150 delivered or £140 collected. Cash or BT.

ps: dust not included! Nor is the arm board it's on.

Teaser shot with a bit less dust, a bias weight, and a headshell.

In reply to one query regarding a saggy stub:

There isn't any. The first pics pick up on the fact that the stub is offset and not perfectly linear to the arm tube. Best I can explain this is that if you were looking down at the bearing housing, where the arm tube is at 6 o'clock, the stub is at 5 past 6, as intended in the design.

Could do with that mass ring

This is an ideal arm for DL-103 aficionados to get the most from their cartridges. Fit a nice high-mass (18g, or so) headshell, and you’re away! Providing that the bearings are good, it should work a treat on the Techy.

Good luck with the sale, Rich! :)

Marco.

It should direct swap for a TT with Rega arm fitted

Yes. Good arm, I had a couple. The bearings are superb quality (as is the whole arm) and the mass at the cartridge increases as tracking force goes up 'cos you set it with the sliding weight on the arm tube, moving more mass towards the headshell as the force rises. Nice.

Not without some fettling. The thread on this arm is around 17mm, so would be far better suited to a SME adapter or similar. It's not a good match for a standard Rega mount.

Just like the Mayware unipivot..However AT did a few arms with sliding mass rings ie: ATP 16

Sorry Rick i was referring to the Pivot to Spindle mounting distance..

Ah, got you now. I'm gritting my teeth at the minute, because the arm board it's being stored on fits the spare pod on my deck. If I didn't have too much stuff etc...

They drop into Lenco L59/L70 without any butchery too.

Rare to have a finger lift, most are off Leak 2001's

I didn't know that Mark. Cheers for the info. Guys, if you want this arm, get it, as I'm quickly talking myself out of selling it. I've got too much stuff and I'm also trying to convert some surplus into cash for another purchase, but I really like this arm!

Interested. Anyone know how easy would this go on a 1210mk2?

I've never swapped a forearm before so it's uncharted territory for me.

Hmm -- you'd probably do it better if you keep your original forearm. ;)

It's not difficult, but it is a partial strip down.

You will need to remove the bottom half of the deck to get access to the fixings of the original arm if that's what it has, but it's no bigger or harder a job than fitting any non standard arm.

You will also need one of these http://www.soundsupports.com/page16.htm

Loads of YouTube clips on this sort of thing, especially a chappie called Viperfrank.
