hi
I've bought a pair of audiolab 8000m monoblocks. I already own an 8000 's' integrated and 'p' stereo power amps.
My speakers (atc scm7) are bi-wireable.
I found the following advice in the manual. Unfortunately without the diagram of the cable connections.
"... the 8000M and 8000P can be used together in a bi-amplified stereo
configuration where two 8000M amplifiers drive the bass channels and one 8000P drives
the treble channels.
Both the 8000M and the 8000P can be used in conjunction with the 8000S integrated
amplifier for multi-amping."
I want to use the 8000s in pre mode. It has two sets of pre-amp output. I have two sets of interconnects.
Is it correct if
1. a pair of interconnects go from the first set of pre out to the 8000p. the stereo power to drive the high freqs?
2. from the second set of pre output a single interconnect goes to each monoblock to drive the bass?
And I assume I need 4 pairs of speaker cables?
Thanks for your help.
