I just came across this turntable on the net. Not heard of it before. It does look very attractive. Wonder how it measures up against the Techie?

I have seen an ad for that, but not the price. They also have a MC cart out for the anniversary Denon DL-A100 100th Anniversary MC Cartridge
It's a Hanpin super-OEM in a tarted up chassis. I happen to like the appearance of the Denon, if you are into that Japanese domestic market kind of look. But you can buy essentially the same table for $250 called a Audio-Technica LP-120.
It's certainly not worth $2500. (The anniversary Denon products were all priced at $2500...)

AT do a couple of tts that one at 200/250 a!d a dearer on at abot another 100 quid. both seem pretty goo as is the big Stanton either with s shape or straight arm..ki!da fancied the straight arm one myself
The Stanton with straight arm will never give you anything close to an alignment good for hifi... It's much too short and is made solely for resistance to skipping when scratching - it literally is a "DJ table".
