Moving to a 300B valve amp, so KT88's no longer needed.

Matched quad of 4no. Genelex Gold Lion KT88 valves, New Sensor Corp. reissue.
Bought as a spare set from Watford Valves May 2014.
Estimate about two hundred hours or so on them.
Paid £183, looking for £105 delivered

Have another two extra Genelex Gold Lion KT88 valves that are no longer needed as going 300B.
Will throw them in too, so six GL KT88 valves in all.

Yes, a pair of 300B monos is on my shopping list too.

Who'd have thought that a quick 'can I try my speakers with them amps' last weekend would have left me with my head in my hands to play with.

Watching with interest to see which you go for.

Anyways, have a bump on me.

Still waiting on the transformers being wound Grant, still a couple of months away all in I think.
The little Mini 1 Brian loaned me is nice in the meantime.

New one will be a...bit different.

Heard the RS5's really did the business with the 300B's Rich...nice!

Yes, Ali's amps...you'd never have believed he described them earlier in the day as 'bit tired'.

Goodness knows what they'd sound like if fully match fit.

There is a pair of PSE WAD mono blocks on the bay at the moment, in Hull at £750, may be worth a look or offer.

They have disappeared Rich, were there at 1100pm last night but can't find them now, they had gold coloured top caps and front panels, I will keep looking as they may be re listed.
