Next up: PC AUDIO...Computer Audio upgrade
Use this setup in my own server and can say from experience this will take a standard music server or standard PC used for music to the next level.

The card is powered by standard internal molex connector or has facility external linear power supply or it can be run off of battery power.
Also, it has a switch to disconnect the 5V feed to your Dac if not required, this can give a substantial improvement in sound quality.
5V LINEAR PSU TO POWER USB CARD
Powering the USB card from a separate linear supply (and isolating it from all other voltage rails inside the PC) really improves the performance of the card. Even with a non standard "cleaner" internal Server PSU, the improvement in powering the card separately is substantial and well worth it.

These connect between your internal drive and Sata cable and I found that when straming music form an internal drive, these filters cleaned up the sound somewhat and opened up the soundstage. A worthwhile improvement.
