I have used an ultrasonic cleaner on some of my CDs. TBH it's too much faffing about and I couldn't detect any sound improvement. Cleans jewellery and watches ok though. :)

He says in the video that he never listens to a CD until it has been through his five stage process - in which case, how does he know it makes any difference? As for demagnetising CD's etc. - that has to be nonsense.

Seems a lot of expense and hassle to me. I have my doubts as to how much Improvement is gained.

Indeed, or for playing CDs use a media server so the drive can re-read on error and buffer the data, you get the same 'minimal error correction' as long as you have dedicated USB to SPDIF you can match and beat CD transports.
